Nokia E7 question about Photos?

When I transfer photos from any other hardware or phone to my Laptop they are always readable in windows photo viewer. Now when i upload pics from my phone they are displayed as a white sheet of paper with a curl on the top right and can only be opened by clicking on the link in a pop up box. facebook etc will not recognise my pics for upload, only ones downloaded by other phones and cameras etc.....Please help.
