Is 'A Handmaid's Tale' readable?

I read it in high school. I didn't find it hard to read at all. If you find a book difficult to read, keep reading it! If we didn't read harder books in order to improve our reading comprehension, we'd all still be reading "I Can Read Level 1" books. :) But it honestly is a good book, and I think you will enjoy it.
