POLL: Do you prefer mechanical or regular pencils, or pens?

I usually like mechanical pencils but then I realized that I write so much neater with a regular pencil. I don't really like regular pencils cuz you have to sharpen them, but my writing is 10x more readable. I don't really use pens because my hand always smudges them and it looks bad. What do you prefer?
