How does one become a presidential candidate?

Well first you have to get your name out in your party, organize events, go to meetings ect. Once your known in your party (Most people do this by becoming in the senate gov or H.O.R) you run for the presidential nomination and if you get that then you are the one running for your party in the presidential election
