Do I need to get prescription glasses?

OK, so when I am at school and taking notes and stuff, the board of power point looks a little blurry.. I mean it is readable..but its just really irritating to have to look at the blurry writing and sometimes squint. And when I am at home I can see pretty much ok. And just the other day my friend had me try on his glasses and they sort of helped. So should go to like Walmart Vision Center and see if I can get a pair of prescription glasses?
