What is a good program to use for resumes on mac book?

i need to make a few resumes. i need to know whats a good program for mac book pro. i would prefer a program that is easy to use and has templates pacifically for resumes. also what do i need to do to make a file readable from mac to windows? i have been having problems with files form my machine not being readable on other machines.
